What is the name of the diet where you eat predominantly from your local environment?
I can’t remember the name of the type of diet that recommends you eat fruit and vegetables locally grown. The theory is that the plants grown near you contain a better balance nutritional balance for where you live. The Japanese Prime Minister’s wife (Miyuki Hatoyama) is on this diet.

native? i think. i know when you buy local food and veggies from a market or farmers market they are called native..e.g native tomato, native bananas etc. so native?
macro-biotic! And it’s not from your surrounding area!!! It is what is in season!
Those who eat food produced and grown within 50-100 miles are called “Locavores”.
