What running shoes do you recommend for jogging?
Looking for a pair of running shoes for joggin. I would be jogging outdoors on grass, the track and sometimes pavement. I heard asics shoes are good but i dont know what model.

To be very concise about this, everyone has a different foot, so there is no universal fit for a shoe. Each model of shoe will fit differently, so take your time and try on a whole barrage of shoes. I would recommend just hitting up the local running shop and get fitted for a shoe and try it on in the store and analyze how well it fits. Do that with a few brands and types of shoes and go for the best fit.
I have always used saucony. they are very comfortable after running on them for a while. I had one for 3 years and ran all year round and they still worked perfect after hundreds of miles. They can run up to $160 dollars for the best but average can be around $100. Its a brand of only running so they know what they are doing. But its all about what feels is right for you. Try them all out. A lot of my teammates have asics also.
there are many good shoes made for long distance running ..one of the best is Nike , Asics , Mizuno, newton
but good shoes may not be good for your kind of feet you have
you need to see how your sole imprint is ..if you have any poronation problem
if you have flat feet buy the one with arch support
high arch then extra cushioning

You have to get individually fitted in a running specialty shop. You’re worried about things like fit and function first and foremost, not brand. What’s best for you is going to vary with your individual arch, pronation, shape of your foot, etc.
Nobody else can truly recommend a model, or even brand, for you.
