Thank you Sarah, this workout looks to be about my speed. :) . I haven’t worked out in years and I’m horribly out of shaped and needed to know where to begin. You are a God send. Thanks.

@xxbeautybabesxx There is another formula that I can give you if you know your resting heart rate called the karvonen formula, it takes into account your resting like I said.

By xxbeautybabesxx on April 7th, 2010 at 3:29 am

Hey Sarah, you gave a range for heart rates, but what if you naturally have a rapid heartbeat? One of my medications raises my pulse so my resting pulse is actually about 120. Should I still follow the guide that you gave or is that assuming that your resting pulse is lower than mine is? (don’t worry, I’ve had an EKG and there’s nothing wrong with my heart!) I want to lose about 30 more pounds so I know I need to start exercising! Thanks for this advice in the video!!

Just wondering, but why do you have to do strength before cardio?

By EnchantedSilence on April 7th, 2010 at 5:50 am

I have about 40 pounds to lose, but this seems like it’s too easy for me to lose that.

By navystarfish on April 7th, 2010 at 6:42 am

you wrote 35000 instead of 3500
great program

By PnkSareese on April 7th, 2010 at 6:57 am

what are some strength training ideas?

By CassiaBlueLava on April 7th, 2010 at 7:06 am

Sarah, I’m quite chubby myself, but I have some issues into doing exercice, since I finish school at around 4:30 PM, it’s already getting dark, it’s cold and i come really tired to have a walk around te street. I cannot afford for fitness classes either. Do you have some ideas of exercices I could do at home without the need of any special fitness equipment?
By the way, I’m 5′3 and weight 154 lbs, I feel quite uncomfortable with my weight, I wish to lose 22 lbs. Can you help me? Thank you. =)
