What is the best exercise for ab?

I do this every morning:
50 sit ups
50 side crunches left
50 side crunches right
50 inclines
Then again after supper
There are tons of abdominal exercises one can do to attain the look they want. Here are just a couple.
Crunches work great for upper abs. Reverse crunches work more the lower abs. You can also put your legs at a 90 degree angle straight up in the air do some crunches, then for more of a challenge put them at a 45 degree angle and do some more.
I think, what builds my endurance is doing as many as I can, until I can’t, then increase as I am able each day. You can safely do them every day.
Another exercise I HATE doing, but know it works is what is called planks…it not only works the abs but the whole core…and you need a strong core to add to the effect of the six-pack abs. Again, there are a variety of planks, but you can start out by laying on your stomach, then go into a position as if you are ready to do push-up. Your arms will be straight, holding up your weight and your body is as straight as a plank. Make sure not to sag and watch that you are completely straight. You can hold this position as long as you want and challenge yourself to increase how long you can do it daily. You would be surprised how this works your stomach. You can add to those planks, but it is difficult to describe. If you have access to DirecTv, tune to channel 368 (FitTV) on Mondays at either 6 a.m., 10 a.m., or 6 p.m. central time for core exercises. That program is on daily at those times with different exercise workouts, but every Monday is dedicated to core.
