What is the best, effective, Abdominal workout where you will actually immediatly see results?

Definetely Pilates. It is a wonderful excercise. You should look into it, wow, talking about results.
not eating or drinking too much
Anyone who has nice abs will tell you that diet has alot to do with it. Abs on the ball will target them faster and more intense than on the floor. Pilates is all core, so this is a great workout too. You can find these exercises on line with your search engine. Limit your sweets, fast foods, chips and fried foods and cut your portions in half, this will help your abs alot.
( crunches work best 10 min each day ) I don’t think you can immediately see results but if you hold your stomach in while your at work,school , standing ,sitting, basically any time your active or inactive it will help

If you are looking for an exceptional ab workout go to http://www.dragondoor.com and look at Pavel Tsatsouline’s ab books. Pavel was a trainer for the Russian military. His workout is much different than those done in the West–much more effective and definitely more challenging. Once you understand the physiology behind the training you’ll really appreciate his methods. He also has great books/DVDs on joint mobility exercises “Super Joints” (very important) and his book on proper stretching methods, “Relax Into Stretching” is a real eye-opener. If you are serious about working out in a most efficient and effective manner and desire concrete results in a relatively short time period, Pavel’s the Man. Oh, and do check out the Russian Kettlebells–the most excellent full body workout you’ll ever do. You may never go back to free weights/machines once you try the kettlebells. BE CAREFUL, THOUGH and HAVE FUN!
