ab workout could you advise to which ab exercise you need to do ?

At the moment, i am walking/jogginy on my treadmill for 35minutes doing around 2.6miles daily. Also i have been doing 3 sets of 25 crunches on the gym ball, is that enough or should i do more, I am 5ft4 47kg, so i just need to lose weight off my stomach hence the cardio and the ab exercises!how long before i see results!

the cardio will cut the fat…. the crunches will not. however crunches are good for toning the abs (but not getting rid of the fat on the abs) make sense? It takes longer for women to see results. might i recommend something we did in high school soccer called “6 inches”

lie on your back with your legs together and your hands under your lower back/butt

lift your feet 6 inches off the ground, keeping your legs together and straight.

hold for 30 seconds and SLOWLY bring your legs down. do 3-5 sets of those a day (way better than crunches on a ball)

you can mix it up by lifting your legs up to 1ft off the ground for 10 seconds then 6in for 10 then back up for the remaining 10.

that’ll give you an ab workout. lots of running on top of that and you’ll be liking what you see before too long. You can also try doing a day of distance running then a day of shorter sprints anything to get that heart rate up is good for you. DONT TAKE PILLS OR SUPPLIMENTS, good old fashioned working out WORKS. If you’re having problems losing weight. talk to your doc, he’ll know better than anyone on here trying to hock their weight loss stuff via yahoo answers

P.S. if you can get to the point where you’re jogging the entire 2.6 miles at a good steady pace the whole time, you’ll be cutting that fat a lot more quickly than walking that 2.6
